The Nigerian Association
of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has just
launched Economic Policy Watch, a quarterly publication that charts new
developments in Nigeria's economic policy reform process and addresses current
economic issues. Topics addressed in the first issue and in coming issues
include:
Support for the project comes from CIPE, with funding provided by the National Endowment for Democracy. Economic Policy Watch is part of a larger effort to contribute to democratic change in Nigeria and to move toward a market economy by developing chambers of commerce, advancing business advocacy, and promoting public awareness of the role of the entrepreneur in policymaking.
