The Institute of Liberty and Development (Instituto Libertad Y Desarrollo), a CIPE partner organization, is composed of the former technicians who designed and implemented Chile's privatization strategies. With support from CIPE, they put their insights and expertise in a book, Private Solutions to Public Problems. From the beginning, this book was intended for international audiences, like Poland and Hungary, that wanted to use Chile's experience as a "road map" for their own efforts to privatize. This publication is available for $5.00 at the bookstore found on CIPE's Web site at http://www.cipe.org., or call CIPE at (202) 721-9200.
